Using the Precision 2 design once again, Microsoft introduced a value-oriented SideWinder joystick, simply called the SideWinder Joystick. The joystick driver for Linux provides support for a variety of joysticks and similar devices.
Lived there is a new flightgear property called the potentiometers. This is a USB precision pro 2.I've tried various combinations of the sidewinder module, joydev, and hid attached. FreeStyle Pro, Game Pad, Force Feedback Pro, Precision Pro, Standard, and Force Feedback Wheel. If it worked on 7, it likely will work in 10, you may have to reinstall drivers, but in all likely hood the upgrade should be.
